If you are not a show person, why should you go to a National? First of all, you are reading this because you love Silky Terriers. Wouldn’t it be cool to see a whole lot of gorgeous examples of your favorite breed? Secondly, you’ll get a chance to meet premier breeders and exhibitors in person. While no puppies are sold at the show, wouldn’t it be cool to meet someone who may be able to help you find your next puppy? Third, there are lots of things that you can enter your dogs in! There is a Parade of Seniors and a Parade of Rescue and Companion Dogs. Check out the Premium List, page 13. If you think that your dog has excellent manners, your dog can pass the Canine Good Citizen test.
