Ronda Olgesby started the Silky Terrier Club of America’s Pedigree Database more than 25 years ago. With over 75,000 entries, it was a great resource for members and breeders, but aging technology slowly made it unworkable.

Worried about losing this huge resource, time and care were taken to move it to a solid and proven platform.

Ronda found what we are looking for in World Pedigrees. We are happy to announce that she has successfully moved our huge database to this established platform.

The standard World Pedigrees account is free, but you will need to create a personal account. And for US$10 per year, you can upgrade to a Pro account, giving you much more access than members had on the old database. Specifically, you will get:

• Pedigree Express - A Windows application that provides better access and reports
• Four times the number of reports and searches. Instead of 100 per day, you get 400.
• Trial matings
• Ancestor Reports
• Add or edit data - The data is kept separate, so it will not be overwritten. It also appears immediately, allowing you to continue adding a complete line of ancestors.
